THE HONESTPET DIFFERENCE
Why Arizona Families Choose HonestPet
Buying a puppy online takes trust. Here's what you can count on when you work with us.
Raised in Breeders' Homes
Our breeders raise litters inside their own homes, not kennel buildings. Puppies that have already lived with kids, doorbells, and a dishwasher running settle in quickly, whether they're moving into an Arcadia ranch house, a Chandler two-story, or a casita in the Catalina Foothills.
Handled From Day Three
Our breeders begin Early Neurological Stimulation when puppies are three days old and follow Puppy Culture practices until they’re ready to join their new families. Short, gentle daily handling helps puppies become more comfortable with new experiences as they grow.
Health-Tested Parents
Most of our puppies’ parents are DNA tested. Each puppy’s listing identifies the DNA testing status of both mom and dad, so you can review this information before choosing your puppy.
Honest Puppy Matching
We'll tell you which puppy fits your life, even if it isn't the one you first picked. A calm pup for a Sun City retiree, a bolder one for a Queen Creek family with a pool, a yard, and three kids.
A Guarantee in Writing
Every puppy comes with a 10-year genetic health guarantee and a digital copy of their vet and vaccine records.
Support for Life
Message our Care360 Team at 10 weeks or 10 years. We stay in touch with our families for the life of the dog.
STATEWIDE DELIVERY

HonestPet puppies come from vetted home breeders, never pet stores or brokers. Arizona families can choose free ground delivery to the door or a flight nanny who brings the puppy in the cabin to Sky Harbor, Tucson, or another nearby airport, and in summer we schedule every trip around the heat.

A Cavapoo is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel crossed with a Poodle, which gives you the Cavalier's sweet, people-loving nature and the Poodle's intelligence and low-shedding coat. They're an indoor dog at heart, which suits the desert: they're happy to lounge in the air conditioning through a 110-degree afternoon and ready to go once the sun drops.
Apartment-Friendly Size
Most of our Cavapoos finish between 10 and 23 pounds. That's within the pet weight limits many Arizona apartment communities and HOAs set, and small enough to carry across a hot parking lot or lift out of the pool if they go in after a tennis ball.
Low-Shedding Coat
Their wavy or curly coats shed very little. No dog is fully hypoallergenic, but many people with mild allergies live comfortably with a Cavapoo.
Gentle With Kids
Cavapoos are patient and gentle, which is why so many families with young children choose them. Supervised play is still a must.
Quick to Train
Poodle smarts plus a real wish to please. Short, consistent sessions go a long way with potty training and basic manners.
Moderate Energy
Cavapoos need moderate exercise, and in Arizona that means timing. From May through September, walk at dawn or after dark, and press the back of your hand to the pavement first; if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for paws. In the cooler months, they'll happily join you on the Scottsdale greenbelt, a Papago Park loop, or a Sabino Canyon stroll.
Made for Company
Cavapoos want to be wherever you are. They're a great fit for work-from-home schedules. If you're gone 10 hours a day, plan on a dog walker.

GETTING YOUR PUPPY HOME
Three Ways to Get Your Cavapoo Home
Most Arizona families choose free ground delivery, which brings your puppy to your door in a climate-controlled vehicle. If you'd rather fly, a flight nanny can carry your puppy in the cabin to one of six Arizona airports. Our team confirms the date with you either way, schedules summer handoffs for early morning or evening, and keeps you posted until your puppy arrives.
Most Popular
Ground Transport
Ground delivery is our preferred way to bring a Cavapoo to Arizona, and in summer it's planned around the heat: air-conditioned vehicles, water at every stop, and no outdoor waits in the middle of the day. Cavapoos are easy travelers, and most arrive relaxed and ready to meet their family.
Pick Up at the Breeder
Prefer to meet first? When the breeder's location and schedule allow, HonestPet can arrange an in-person visit so you can meet your puppy before delivery to Arizona.
Flight Nanny
A flat $799 to any Arizona airport we serve. Your puppy flies in the cabin on the nanny's lap, never in cargo, so the summer heat embargoes that ground pets in Phoenix don't apply. The nanny meets you at arrivals and hands your puppy over.

HEALTH FIRST
Cavapoo Parent Health Screening
Cavaliers and Poodles each have known inherited health risks, which is why we’re working toward having all of our breeders complete genetic screening for the conditions most relevant to the Cavapoo breed. Testing varies by parent; ask to review available results for the parents of any puppy you’re considering.
Parents
Curly Coat / Dry Eye Syndrome
A Cavalier condition that shows up in a puppy's first weeks. Affected puppies can't make normal tears and develop a rough coat, flaky skin, and cracked, sore paw pads. It's only a risk when both parents have Cavalier ancestry, as in F2 and multigeneration Cavapoos.
Parents
Degenerative Myelopathy
A slow spinal cord disease that usually doesn't appear until later in life, often after age 8. It starts with wobbly, dragging back legs and gradually leads to hind-end weakness. It isn't painful, but there's no cure, so testing the parents is the best protection.
Parents
Episodic Falling Syndrome
Another Cavalier condition. When an affected dog gets excited, stressed, or exercises hard, its muscles stiffen and it may freeze mid-step or fall over. The dog stays fully awake through each episode. Signs usually start before the first birthday.
Parents
Neonatal Encephalopathy
A Poodle condition that affects newborns. Affected puppies are born small and weak, have trouble with balance, and often develop seizures. Because they rarely survive their first few weeks, this test is about pairing parents so no puppy is born with it.
Parents
Progressive Retinal Atrophy
One of the more common inherited conditions in Toy and Miniature Poodles. The retina slowly breaks down, starting with night blindness in adulthood and often leading to full blindness. It isn't painful and most dogs adjust well, but the vision loss can't be reversed.
Parents
von Willebrand Disease
A bleeding disorder where blood doesn't clot as well as it should. Many dogs with it live normal lives, but they can bleed longer after surgery, an injury, or losing baby teeth. Knowing the parents' results helps your vet plan ahead for spay or neuter.
Puppies
Vet Exam
Before any puppy leaves for Arizona, a licensed vet performs a full nose-to-tail exam: heart and lungs, eyes, ears, teeth, skin, and a check for hernias. The vet issues a health certificate for interstate travel, and a copy of the exam goes into the puppy's digital records for your Arizona vet.
Puppies
Shots, Deworming, Microchip
Each puppy is current on core vaccines for their age and has been dewormed on a regular schedule since their first weeks. Your vet will finish the series, including the rabies shot Arizona requires by 3 months of age, which you'll need for your county license. Ask your vet about rattlesnake vaccine and avoidance training if you hike, and about valley fever, a desert fungal infection that affects dogs as well as people. Every puppy is microchipped, and we'll help you register the chip in your name.
QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Cavapoo Puppy FAQs
Our Cavapoo puppies are $2,500 to $6,000, depending on size, coat, and color. The price of each puppy includes vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, a vet exam, lifetime training and support, a digital copy of their records, and free ground delivery to your home.
Yes. Most families choose free ground delivery straight to their door. Flight nanny delivery is also available to major Arizona airports including Phoenix Sky Harbor, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway, Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott, and Yuma, depending on route and availability.
While no dog is 100% hypoallergenic, Cavapoos are known for their low-shedding coats and can be a good choice for some families with mild dog allergies. How much a Cavapoo sheds can vary based on their individual coat genetics and generation, with some puppies inheriting more of the Poodle’s low-shedding coat characteristics. If allergies or shedding are a concern, review each puppy’s generation and coat type, and talk with our team about which available Cavapoo may be the best fit for your family.
Most Cavapoos weigh 10 to 23 pounds and stand 9 to 14 inches tall as adults. Size depends mostly on the Poodle parent. We list an estimated adult weight for every puppy we have available.
Your puppy comes home with a starter bag of food, a blanket that smells like their littermates, a toy, microchip details, and a digital copy of their vet and vaccine records.
Pick an available puppy then send us an inquiry. After we talk, a $349 deposit holds your puppy. The balance is due before go-home day.
We’re working toward having every parent DNA tested and screened for relevant heart, knee, and eye conditions before breeding. Every puppy also receives a veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and a microchip before going home. Available parent health and genetic testing results can be viewed on our Parents page.
Each breeder may have a different preferred puppy food, so we provide the specific brand and formula your puppy is currently eating to help make the transition to your home as smooth as possible. If you decide to switch foods, we recommend transitioning gradually to help avoid digestive upset.
Most Arizona families pick free ground delivery straight to their home. If you'd rather your puppy fly, flight nanny service is available to six Arizona airports, with your puppy riding in the cabin beside a dedicated nanny the whole way.

What ground delivery looks like
We set the date together.Once the vet clears your puppy to travel, we schedule a delivery day and give you an arrival window.
Your puppy rides with a trained handler. They travel in their own crate in a climate-controlled vehicle, with regular stops for water, food, and potty breaks.
We keep you posted. Our delivery team sends updates along the way and lets you know when your puppy is getting close.
We bring your puppy to your door. The handler hands your puppy to you at home, along with their starter bag. In a gated community or a Scottsdale high-rise, they'll call ahead so you can meet them at the gate or in the lobby, and in summer the handoff happens early or late, never in the afternoon sun.
Help them settle in.Have a crate, a few puppy pads, water, and their food ready so your puppy can rest after the trip.

ARIZONA QUESTIONS
Getting a Cavapoo in Arizona: Your Questions Answered
What Arizona families ask us most, from summer heat and county licensing to pet store rules and airport pickups.
Legally, yes. A 2016 Arizona law allows pet stores to sell puppies sourced from federally licensed breeders and overrode the local bans Phoenix and Tempe had passed. But a store can't show you the parents, the home the puppy was raised in, or the breeder's health testing. HonestPet is not a pet store. We connect Arizona families directly with vetted home breeders and share all of that up front.
Yes, with a little routine. Cavapoos are indoor dogs who are perfectly happy in the air conditioning during the hottest hours, and their coat can be kept in a short summer clip. The rules are simple: walk at dawn or after dark from May through September, test the pavement with your hand, carry water, and never leave them in a parked car, even for a minute. Most of our Arizona families say their Cavapoo adjusted faster than they did.
Yes. Arizona requires dogs 3 months and older to be vaccinated against rabies and licensed through the county. Maricopa County Animal Care and Control handles licensing for the Phoenix area, Pima Animal Care Center for Tucson, and other counties through their animal control offices. You'll need the rabies certificate to apply, and fees are lower for spayed and neutered dogs.
Once you reserve your puppy, HonestPet coordinates the trip from the breeder's home to yours. Your puppy gets a final vet exam and a travel health certificate, then rides to Arizona in a climate-controlled delivery vehicle or in the cabin with a flight nanny to Sky Harbor or the airport nearest you. We confirm the schedule with you, time summer arrivals for the cooler hours, and send updates along the way.
Flights to Arizona usually run 3 to 4 hours, depending on where the breeder is located and which airport you choose. Your puppy stays with the flight nanny the whole way and rides in the cabin, never in cargo, which also means summer cargo embargoes at Sky Harbor don't affect the trip.
Sometimes, yes. When the breeder's location and schedule allow, HonestPet can set up an in-person visit so you can meet your puppy before delivery. Because our breeders are located in different areas and we protect their privacy, visits are arranged one family at a time rather than offered as open appointments.
