Ethical Standards
At HonestPet, we adhere to ethical and stringent breeding practices to ensure all our puppies and kittens are healthy, safe, and happy. Our Breeders follow a strict set of standards that ensures they are providing the best for our little furry friends.
Screening
We screen every applicant breeder on various points including a clean and safe environment, animal physical and mental health, medical records and vaccinations, feeding, play time, and much more.

Breeder Background Check
HonestPet breeders voluntarily complete background checks that verify any animal harm and/or involvement in unlawful activities.
Onsite Inspection
HonestPet breeders are encouraged to welcome voluntary assessments and visits to their breeding sites. Breeders who opt for these evaluations can expedite their progression on HonestPet through our Super Breeder program.
Animal Health Inspection
HonestPet breeders share all medical and health information for their pet as a part of the pet purchase process. All pets transported via HonestPet Delivery will be wellness checked to ensure good health upon arrival.
Proper Vaccinations
Puppies and kittens will have age-appropriate vaccinations by their go-home date. New owners will also have access to appropriate medical and health records upon arrival.
Exercise and Outdoor Time
Our breeders understand the significance of catering to their breed's unique mental and physical requirements. Our guideline emphasizes that breeders should take these factors into account alongside their available space and local climate.
Socialization
We guide our community of breeders to invest their efforts in assuring that their puppies and kittens receive effective socialization within their home environments, contributing to their development as excellent companions.
Healthy Pet Guarantee
At HonestPet, we guarantee that the puppy / kitten you've chosen is healthy at the time of purchase. We are dedicated to the health and well-being of your new companion, offering protection against common viral diseases. In the unlikely event that your veterinarian detects any of the viral diseases within the initial 10-day period, kindly notify us immediately at info@honestpet.com. Once you've enrolled in major medical pet insurance before your kitten / puppy's arrival, we'll cover 100% of your copay and deductible for any viral-related illnesses during this period.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, and our priority is to ensure our breeders feel supported and valued as part of our community. All of our breeders are provided with 24-hour support, ensuring they can access assistance and guidance whenever needed.
