THE HONESTPET DIFFERENCE
Why Arkansas Families Choose HonestPet for a French Bulldog
Buying a puppy online takes trust. Here's what you can count on when you work with us.
Raised in Breeders' Homes
Our breeders raise French Bulldogs in the family room, where the litter learns a screen door, a Razorbacks game on the TV, and a kid's bike dropped in the hall before it ever leaves. A Frenchie that grew up in a home instead of a kennel building settles into a Hillcrest bungalow in Little Rock, a Bentonville new-build, or a cabin on Beaver Lake the first evening, not the third week.
Handled From Day Three
Our breeders begin Early Neurological Stimulation when puppies are three days old and follow Puppy Culture practices until they’re ready to join their new families. Short, gentle daily handling helps puppies become more comfortable with new experiences as they grow.
Parent Health Records
Each puppy’s listing identifies the DNA testing status of both mom and dad. Ask to review available parent health records, including any breathing, spine, hip, and knee assessments; screening coverage varies by parent.
Honest Puppy Matching
We'll point you to the puppy that fits, not the one with the best listing photo. For a couple in a downtown Fayetteville apartment who'll carry the dog to every patio on Dickson Street, that's the pup that breathes quietest; for a Conway family with a fenced yard and three kids, it's the sturdier one that wants in on every game, in the shade.
A Guarantee in Writing
Every puppy comes with a 10-year genetic health guarantee and a digital copy of their vet and vaccine records.

STATEWIDE DELIVERY
French Bulldog Puppies Delivered Anywhere in Arkansas
Each French Bulldog HonestPet places was raised in a vetted breeder's home; pet stores and brokers are never part of it, whatever Arkansas law now allows them to sell. Arkansas families choose free ground delivery to the door or a flight nanny who carries the puppy in the cabin into Little Rock, XNA, Fort Smith, or Memphis for the Delta. Flat-faced breeds are barred from cargo, so cabin is the only flight we book, and from June through September every Arkansas handoff is set for early morning.

Why French Bulldogs Fit Arkansas, Dickson Street to the Lake
A French Bulldog is a stocky 20 to 28 pounds with bat ears, a wrinkled face, and a sense of humor, and it wants what a Little Rock bungalow or a Bentonville townhouse offers: a short walk, a warm couch, and company. It barely barks and doesn't need a yard. What Arkansas adds is a humid summer that runs from May well into September, hotter in the Delta than in the Ozarks, and a flat face can't move enough air to cool a dog through that, so the breed lives in air conditioning and walks at the edges of the day. The Ozark fall, when it comes, is a Frenchie's favorite season.
Apartment-Friendly Size
Our Frenchies grow to 20 to 28 pounds. That's under the pet cap in most downtown Little Rock and Fayetteville buildings, fits a carrier for a weekend at the lake, and is light enough to carry across a hot parking lot at Razorback Stadium, which with this breed is how you'll cross one in September.
Short, Smooth Coat
French Bulldogs have short, smooth coats and do shed. Regular brushing helps manage loose hair, and their skin folds need gentle cleaning and drying. They are not a hypoallergenic breed.
Playful Family Companions
Frenchies are playful and affectionate. Supervise interactions with children, teach gentle handling, and give your puppy a quiet place to rest. Keep play short and cool rather than encouraging rough play or long chases.
Patient, Positive Training
A Frenchie can be clever and independent. Use short sessions, rewards, and consistent potty routines to build good habits. Our lifetime training support helps you work through puppy manners without harsh methods.
Short Walks, Cool Play
A Frenchie asks for two short walks and a little indoor play, nothing more. In an Arkansas summer, walk before the humidity builds and again after dark, keep it to fifteen minutes, and come in at the first heavy pant. The Razorback Greenway is a fine fall ride with the dog in a trailer; a hike up Pinnacle Mountain in July is not. On Beaver Lake, Ouachita, Hamilton, or Greers Ferry, a life vest goes on before the puppy steps on the dock, because French Bulldogs cannot swim.
Made for Company
French Bulldogs enjoy being near their people. Build up time alone gradually, and arrange company and potty breaks when you will be away for long stretches. An air-conditioned home and a predictable routine help them stay comfortable.

GETTING YOUR PUPPY HOME
Three Ways to Get Your French Bulldog Home
Most Arkansas families take free ground delivery straight to the door, and for a flat-faced puppy a short drive in a climate-controlled vehicle is the ideal trip. If you'd rather fly, a flight nanny carries your Frenchie in the cabin to one of four airports serving Arkansas; cargo is closed to French Bulldogs by airline rule, and by ours. Either way, we agree on a date together and send updates until the puppy is on your couch.
Most Popular
Ground Transport
Ground delivery is what we recommend for a Frenchie, and Arkansas is a short run from many of our breeders: cooled vehicle, ventilated crate, brief stops, and a handoff timed for early morning in summer. Most puppies sleep the whole drive and wake up in your driveway, never having seen an airport.
Pick Up at the Breeder
Prefer to meet your puppy before it travels? When the breeder's location and schedule allow, HonestPet can arrange an in-person visit before your Frenchie heads to Arkansas.
Flight Nanny
A flat $799 to any airport we serve for Arkansas. Your Frenchie flies in a ventilated soft carrier at the nanny's feet in the cabin, the only way this breed is allowed to fly, and XNA and Little Rock both take nonstops from several breeder regions, which keeps a brachycephalic puppy's transit short. At arrivals the nanny finds you and hands over the puppy.

HEALTH FIRST
French Bulldog Health and Parent Screening
French Bulldogs need particular attention to breathing, heat tolerance, and spine and joint health. Parent screening and available records vary by dog; ask to review the findings for the parents of the puppy you are considering. A DNA test or veterinary exam is not a guarantee against future breathing or mobility problems, and your vet can help plan ongoing care.
Parents & puppies
Airway and Breathing
Flat-faced dogs can have narrowed nostrils and other airway problems. Ask what breathing assessments are available for the parents, and discuss your puppy's breathing with your vet. Snoring and poor exercise tolerance deserve attention rather than being dismissed as normal.
Parents & puppies
Spine and Back Health
Ask about the parents' spine-health history and any available veterinary findings. French Bulldogs can develop spinal problems; keeping them lean and using ramps instead of repeated jumps can help with daily care, but does not eliminate the risk.
Parents & puppies
Hips and Knees
Review any available hip and knee assessments for the parents with our team. Your vet can check your puppy's gait and joints and advise on suitable exercise. Do not assume every parent has had the same examinations.
Parents & puppies
Eye Health
Ask which parent eye examinations or genetic results are available. Frenchies' prominent eyes need care; contact your vet about redness, squinting, or discharge, and protect the eyes during play.
Puppies
Skin Folds and Care
Discuss skin-fold cleaning and any signs of irritation with your vet. Keep folds clean and dry, watch for itching or redness, and ask for guidance before using skin products. Short coats still need regular brushing.
Parents
Parent Health Records
Each puppy’s listing identifies the DNA testing status of both mom and dad. Ask to review available parent health and genetic records before reserving. Genetic results do not replace a clinical assessment of breathing, spine, or joint health.
Puppies
Vet Exam
Before a Frenchie leaves for Arkansas, a licensed vet gives it a complete exam with the breed's trouble spots in focus: how open the nostrils are, breathing at rest and after a few minutes of play, the spine, the hips and knees, and the skin folds. The vet issues the certificate of veterinary inspection Arkansas requires for dogs entering the state, and the exam notes go into the puppy's digital records for your Little Rock, Northwest Arkansas, or Jonesboro vet.
Puppies
Shots, Deworming, Microchip
Core vaccines are current for the puppy's age, and deworming has been on a rotation since the litter was a couple of weeks old. Your Arkansas vet finishes the series, including the rabies shot state law requires for every dog, and should start heartworm prevention at the first visit, since Arkansas sits in the heaviest heartworm region in the country. Ask about managing spring pollen on the face folds, which in the Ozarks is a real season, and about keeping the puppy lean, because in a Frenchie weight is a breathing issue before it's anything else. The microchip is implanted before departure, and we help move it to your name.
QUESTIONS ANSWERED
French Bulldog Puppy FAQs
Prices vary by puppy. See each available puppy’s listing for the current price, and ask our team to explain the total before reserving. Every puppy comes with a vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, digital records, lifetime training and support, and free ground delivery to your home.
Yes. Most Arkansas families take free ground delivery to the door, which for a Frenchie is a short drive in a climate-controlled vehicle. In-cabin flight nanny delivery is also available into Little Rock, Northwest Arkansas National, Fort Smith, and Memphis for Jonesboro and the Delta, depending on route and availability, with the puppy at the nanny's feet in the cabin. No French Bulldog we place flies as cargo.
Yes. French Bulldogs have short, smooth coats that shed, and they are not hypoallergenic. Regular brushing helps manage loose hair. If allergies are a concern, discuss the individual puppy with our team before deciding.
Our French Bulldogs typically finish between 20 and 28 pounds. Review the individual puppy’s estimated adult size and parent information with our team, and check your building's pet policy before reserving.
Your puppy comes home with a starter bag of food, a blanket that smells like their littermates, a toy, microchip details, and a digital copy of their vet and vaccine records.
Pick an available puppy then send us an inquiry. After we talk, review the current reservation amount for your puppy before placing your deposit. The deposit goes toward the total price, and the balance is due before go-home day.
Parent testing varies by breeder and by dog. Review the available DNA testing status and health records for the puppy’s mom and dad with our team, including any breathing, spine, hip, and knee assessments. Every puppy receives a veterinary exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and a microchip before going home. Your vet can help plan ongoing French Bulldog care; screening does not guarantee freedom from future health problems.
Each breeder may have a different preferred puppy food, so we provide the specific brand and formula your puppy is currently eating to help make the transition to your home as smooth as possible. If you decide to switch foods, we recommend transitioning gradually to help avoid digestive upset.
Free ground delivery to the door is how most of our Arkansas French Bulldogs arrive. If you'd rather fly, the flight nanny brings the puppy in the cabin to one of four airports serving Arkansas, carrier at their feet in cabin air from boarding to arrivals.

What ground delivery looks like
We set the date together.Once the vet clears your puppy to travel, we schedule a delivery day and give you an arrival window.
Your puppy rides with a trained handler. They travel in their own crate in a climate-controlled vehicle, with regular stops for water, food, and potty breaks.
We keep you posted. Our delivery team sends updates along the way and lets you know when your puppy is getting close.
We bring your puppy to your door. The handler carries the puppy and starter bag to your door and goes over the humidity and breathing basics before leaving. In a downtown Little Rock or Bentonville building they'll coordinate with the front desk in advance, and from June through September the handoff is scheduled for early morning, since a French Bulldog shouldn't wait in Arkansas humidity.
Help them settle in.Have a crate, a few puppy pads, water, and their food ready so your puppy can rest after the trip.

ARKANSAS QUESTIONS
Getting a French Bulldog in Arkansas: Your Questions Answered
Humidity, lake days, the 2023 pet store law, city licenses, and how delivery works: what Arkansas Frenchie families ask us most.
Legally, yes. Arkansas has no statewide ban, and since 2023 state law has blocked cities and counties from passing their own, so stores can and do sell French Bulldogs, most of them shipped in from large commercial kennels in Missouri and Oklahoma where nobody evaluated the parents' breathing. A store can't show you the mother or the home. HonestPet is not a pet store. We connect Arkansas families directly with vetted breeders who raise Frenchies at home and share the parents' screening before you reserve.
Yes, and downtown Fayetteville in particular is full of them. A Frenchie hardly ever barks, needs little exercise, and is happy in a one-bedroom so long as the AC is running. The condition is the summer: a flat-faced dog can't handle a Little Rock afternoon in July, so plan early walks, keep them short, and never leave the puppy in a car. Most Arkansas buildings set a weight cap well above a Frenchie, but confirm yours.
It depends on the city. Arkansas has no statewide license, but Little Rock, Fayetteville, and a number of other cities require an annual license or registration once your Frenchie has a current rabies certificate, while many smaller towns rely on the rabies tag alone. Statewide, every dog must have the rabies vaccine. Your city's animal services page has the local rules and fees.
Once you've reserved, HonestPet coordinates the trip from the breeder's home to yours in Arkansas. The puppy gets a final vet exam with breathing checked at rest and after play, then rides in a climate-controlled vehicle or in the cabin with a flight nanny, never in cargo. You'll have the schedule before departure, summer handoffs stay out of the heat, and you'll hear from us at each step.
Typically 1 to 2 hours, and XNA and Little Rock both take nonstops from several breeder regions, which is the easy case for a brachycephalic puppy. Your Frenchie stays in a ventilated carrier at the nanny's feet in the cabin the whole flight. No airline puts a French Bulldog in the hold, and neither would we.
Sometimes. If the breeder's location and calendar line up, HonestPet can set up a visit where you meet the puppy and the parents and listen to how the adults breathe after a bit of play. Because our breeders are spread out and value their privacy, a visit is arranged for one family at a time rather than offered as an open appointment.
